In order to meet and learn the needs of the people, Jean-Claude has launched a series of political tours throughout the country. Last year, he kicked off the tour in his former hometown of Mbandaka, the capital of the Province of Equateur.
Despite heavy rain, Jean-Claude received a warm welcome from the citizens of Mbandaka. In his declaration speech, he thanked the Congolese population, represented by those of Mbandaka, and officially announced his candidacy for the highest executive office for the 2023 election. He gave a brief presentation of his ambitious social project, based on the restoration of peace and national security, the in-depth reform of justice, the improvement of the country’s socio-economic conditions, job creation, the ruthless fight against corruption and tribalism for national unity.
He then invited all Congolese people to support his candidacy and decision to restore the Congolese dignity and work for the development of our dear and beautiful country.
At the end of last year, he visited Ingende, Bokatola Sector, Itipo, Bikoro and Binga.
Jean Claude is excited to connect with citizens from the rest of the country.
